Ysgol Iolo Morganwg is the Welsh Medium Primary School located on the outskirts of the market town of Cowbridge serving the entire rural Vale. Pupils come from an area extending from Bridgend in the west to the outskirts of Cardiff and Barry in the east. It includes the ancient towns of Llantwit Major and Cowbridge, large villages such as St Athan and Rhoose, and a whole host of small villages and settlements which are scattered throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. Pupils are taught through the medium of Welsh with English being introduced in Year 3.
