The History Trail was launched on Friday 30 May 2014.

This important project was spearheaded by Y Bont-faen School, the Creative Rural Communities and the Cowbridge History Society.

Villagers were invited to join in the fun during the inaugral walk which took place on Friday 30 May 2014. We walked in the footsteps of the published ‘A Boyhood Walk, Llanblethian in 1895’ and learned some of the history of our beautiful village. The walk finished back at the Cross Inn just after 4pm. If you have a smart phone which can connect to the internet while walking around the village eventually there will be QR codes positioned around the village to scan. These codes will provide some useful historical information.
